Northern Water Services was formed in response to the Statewide General Waste Discharge Requirements (WDRs) for Wineries, otherwise known as the Winery Order, adopted by the State Water Resource Control Board on January 21, 2021.

 

Our goal is to provide affordable compliance services to wineries generating between 10,000 and 15,000,000 gallons of wastewater annually, who discharge it to land for reuse or disposal. We offer comprehensive Monitoring and Reporting Services in direct compliance with the Winery Order, including but not limited to:

• On-site Field Testing for pH, EC, and DO using probe-based meters

• Sample Collection and Delivery to State Approved Testing Laboratories for ELAP required analysis

• Source Water, Process Water, Pond, Land Application Area, Subsurface Disposal Area, and Solids Reporting

• Submission of Annual, Semi-Annual, and Monthly Compliance Reports to the State Water Board

• Wastewater Treatment Optimization
